Bùi Đình Tuý is one of Bình Thạnh’s busiest and best street-food roads. Tucked away at the end of the cramped street, in the middle of a row of 1 and 2-story houses that feel juxtaposed in a city of high-rises, you’ll find Quán Phở Số 3.
Quán Phở Số 3 is well-established and so is their noodle soup. They have been cooking up the same tasty phở using their own secret recipe for over 21 years.
The broth is super salty, packed with flavour and consistently delicious. This is a classic, delicious, Saigon-style bowl of phở. The greens are as fresh and plentiful as you’d expect. In my eyes, you’d be hard pushed to find a better bowl of phở.
One serving will set you back 35k VND. Be sure to order yourself an egg yolk on the side (5K VND) for an extra burst of flavour (best swallowed whole).
